Not sure what the deal is here yet but it's not 300% dillution as it only goes to public shareholders - the float. If it's 6 mil then it's an additional 18mil increasing the O/S from 30 to 48 for a 60% increase not 300%.
Yes, I realize the 6Mil figure can't be accurate at this point. The a/s was increased to 40Mil in June, with 25mil restricted for 2 years there are at most 15mil possible in the float - post split 60mil + 24mil resticted = 84mil O/S. Since you (the shareholder) gets the 3 for 1 you actually end up owning a higher % of the company since managements restricted shares do not recieve the divvy.
Essentially the divvy dillutes managements restrcited shares not the publics holding.
