Hi Conrad,

I ran an AIM simulation from Jan. 18, 2003 to Jan. 18, 2004 for SPD.TO, which trades on the TSX. It's a profitable company, and there is daily data available at Yahoo.

I used the following parameters to run the AIM simulation:
Initial Stock Value: $10,000
Initial Cash: 0
Maximum Margin: $20,000
Buy Safe: 10%
Sell Safe: 10%
Minimum Purchase: $1000
Minimum Sale: $1000
Commission: $27

I think that Vortex would handle it well. I like the feature in Vortex that resets PC2 = SV1. Also, my understanding of Vortex is that one uses a multiplier to scale up or scale down the trade size as one sees fit, based on the particular security. That's another nice feature.

Yes, there are a lot of AIM variations. It's not a bad thing. Hopefully, each AIMer will find what he or she is comfortable with.

Regards,
Jack
