I recall a similar 'tactic' a few years ago ....wasn't it SUNW who 'accidentally' leaked their very strong earnings on their web site ....Oops (I don't think so).
However, a good word from IBM may not be enough to save the day.
Look whats happening to QLGC now ...dumping further, now in the 45s.
Glad I resisted temptation to buy a couple minutes ago at just over 47.
