One thing to think about, we shouldnt have to wait until end of august or early september to know if the meeting is real. Things like this have to be planned it advance. We should know within 3 weeks when and where the meeting is to take place. If they want to be taken seriously, the meeting place would be able to be verified because nobody would book their airfare or book a room the day of the meeting.
