Its not a big deal was meant to satiricaly address the statement by another poster that only a few centers in the country are equiped to deliver it. But really, when bexar is given youve already failed other regimens, been in the hospital before and may be even had a bone marrow transplant. So in that sense its not a big deal and in the sense that it does not take a specialized center and other than bone marrow depression, has little side effects copared to chemo.

And ps iodine 131 is not volatile. It has to do with the elimination half life of when a patient is discharged from the hospital. I 131 in much higher doses is given as an outpatient. If it were volatile that would not be allowed.
