If its done through ex-clearing it will not show.

Sure it will. If you short naked, you sell shares into the market. To ordinary folk buying through their brokers. Their purchases either get delivered, or they don't. If they don't, FTDs result, and are recorded.

Tell me, if Appletree is serious about creating a solid business, why'd they buy a dirty Pink shell rather than spending more for an OTCBB?
