I don't know what SRDX's stake is anymore. The writeoff of the Novocell investment suggests to me that it is not very significant at this point. However, the royalties SRDX would earn, since the encapsulation technology is licensed to Novocell by SRDX, could be significant if Novocell eventually gains approval on encapsulated stem cell-derived islets (and can produce them in unlimited supply). Such royalties could easily be double-digit, I would hope.

The obstacle to discovery is the illusion of knowledge.
