I believe God made us unique, in His own Image, why? I don't know and can't begin to comprehend, but I also believe in the death and ressurection of Jesus Christ, and find it hard to believe he would have to die for some other being on another planet as well,

but I do respect your opinion, and it is fascinating to think about the vastness of our galaxy and what lies out in it.
