I remember the bashing of donated tests by some on this board. It was a put down, something to the effect of "they couldn't sell any tests so they have to give them away." Those tests, if I'm not mistaken were used in the SA study. By the quote from Johannes Viljoen the tests appear to have had an impact on the health workers who conducted the testing. Perhaps this will be the beginning of sales there.

As far as Roger and his supposed "free shares," it seems to me when he initially signed on with Calypte he wasn't paid for his services with cash but with stock. As such, they should be referred to as shares he bought. We never saw Rick and Dr. George buy stock with their own money but Roger is and I think it's a huge mistake to slander him.

Everyone on this board who owns stock can thank Roger today for the recent developments and subsequent price move. He stuck with it when you could almost hear Calypte's death rattle.

I for one am thankful.
