wall_rus: They can and will keep fooling people. It breaks down like this:

1. a few leaders in every group
2. mostly sheep who follow, baa
3. those that could lead or have led and now see the futility of it and choose to do their own thing.

Most people are obviously #2 and think safety in numbers so they read a good restaurant review and blindly line up for the food they will be given. I have witnessed the absolute worst restaurants with loyal sheep grazing away day after day because they read the glowing reviews in the paper while the place across the street with great food and better service sits idle.


i am a #3, and you can substitute almost anything for "restaurant" above.
