John, I think you can do whatever you like here.

People respect someone who speaks their mind and believes passionately in his causes.

At the same thime, if they sense a person is doing that to try to promote his pubco, they will speak their minds too, and you'll likely end up with a board that is not what you intended it to be.

So I guess it's your choice, it's just that you may get a different outcome than you hoped for if you mix company stuff with personal reflections.

You do seem like an open-minded guy. Forgive me if I came on too harshly at first. Looking forward to seeing what becomes of this board, and to chatting with you :)
