sometimes companies try and be nice to their smaller shareholders
they're saying anyone owning less that 10,000 shares at the time the 100-1 reverse split takes place.. will get 100 post reverse split shares... so you buy 1 share at .51 and after the reverse split you'll have 100 shares and the price will have adjusted for the split
basically... turn .51 into $510 lol
it has worked for me on pavc and recently mcii.. but others do it all the time and have been doing it for awhile now
