:13 CHPC: Checks indicate Sandisk added as major customer -- WR Hambrecht (8.71 )

Based on checks from the Taiwan trip and Consumer Electronics Show, WR Hambrecht has learnedthat ChipPAC has added SanDisk as a major customer. Firm believes ChipPAC is set to manufacture Secure Digital (SD) in 2004 and mini-SD in2005. The SD card is the fastest growing card in the world and for Sandisk, based on firm's estimates, is also the #1 revenue generator since Q2:03.
