It might never have an impact with current rules in place, look at OSTK. But, the idea is that there is the potential for a pop.
It will be interesting to see what happens when the new sho rules go into effect in september-octoberish, will tighten the rules a bit re reporting, and remove the grandfather clause.
There was a front page article, july 4th i think, about dtcc, naked shorts, etc, this stuff is getting talked about and worked on, hopefully that trend continues.
