leftybobcat, you're right ...

... but but but lol ... plenty of companies with less compelling stories show up and present at EnerCom. It's all about catching the eye of a well-heeled investor or three and precipitating enough additional buying to put a little squeeze on that stagnant 2.7MM shares of short interest.

Not private placements though, there's been enough dilution for now (I'm not saying too much, but enough) and TIV has enough in the bank to pay for some more months of G&A and drilling costs. Just a few new buyers to buy some shares on the open market.

$7.87 is such a boring PPS. We've 'been there, done that', we saw that PPS on 12/21/04! Only traders have made any money in TIV stock since the close on December 21, 2004! That's two and a half years of dead money.

Anyway with all the recent hiring, TIV has what should be a reasonably well-known roster of names on board now ... I'm sure one or more of these gentlemen wouldn't mind rubbing shoulders at EnerCom with their peers in the industry and helping to get the word out? Maybe you're on to something though ... maybe wait a year to present ... the last time TIV presented in front of analysts, TIV lost 45% of its market cap over the following 10 trading days.

Speaking of a compelling story, an increase in production would sure add a nice storyline. Another Thursday morning is here and unless the midnight-shift tech-geeks at DOGGR are still at it, TIV hasn't seen fit to submit their April production reports ... and here it is July 12. DOGGR says they were going to run 'missing well' reports two days ago and expected that TIV would be getting 'a bunch' of those and perhaps that would 'push them along'.
