Agree,

patent WO02/22626, published on 21 march 2002 (not granted yet) can be found at European patent website at:

http://v3.espacenet.com/origdoc?sf=n&FIRST=1&F=0&CY=ep&LG=en&DB=EPODOC&PN=wo...

It claims the same priority data than US6,670,344 granted on the 30 december 2003, which can be found at:

http://patft.uspto.gov/netacgi/nph-Parser?Sect1=PTO1&Sect2=HITOFF&d=PALL&p=1&u=/neta...

Patent reviewing process is complex and long, a patent is first published, then eventually granted with the original claims in their entirety or partially.
At this stage, the US patent is granted, the World patent has been published and they are identical. When the World patent will be granted (few years of reviewing process), it might not be identical to the actually published document for the way to review a patent quite differ between countries and organisations.
