You said it - not me. From your original post:

"Bush was very candid from day one of his presidency that he favored "regime change."

So why did he "favor" regime change? We have heard a lot of reasons by now and they've all fallen apart as legitimate reasons for a war that so far has killed 500 US soldiers and and untold thousands of civilian Iraqis.
