I agree, should be interesting! Interesting you should mention foreign accounts over 1000 miles away... Have you looked at the Turner Stone LLC website? Here, check it out: http://www.turnerstone.com/about-us/compilation/Cathy-Zou.html and http://www.turnerstone.com/about-us/assurance/Meenaxi-Gupta.html
Okay, hmmm quite the int'l representation going on there at Turner Stone LLC... wouldn't you agree? Maybe there's more to this Turner Stone LLC then we all considered.
And you asked the question, "Are Turner Stone even qualified to produce a Canadian audit?" Well buddy, I sure hope so! I mean, they were censured by the PCAOB (with whom they ARE registered by the way) so I'd think they'd tighten up and make sure they are dotting the "i's" and crossing the "t's" if you know what I mean! LMAO!!!
Yeah, why choose a firm whose founding partner is not allowed to work for a public accounting firm? Yeah... let's address that one too... What is up with the Turner Stone LLC website? Shouldn't his picture be taken down? Doesn't that "associate" him with the CPA firm... something the PCAOB ruling said was a NO-NO??? Maybe there's more to this than we all know! Maybe he's allowed to still do business??? I don't know for sure but judging by what's on the Turner Stone LLC I'd say they had either better update it or we can all take it that Ed Turner is A-Okay!
LOOK... the PCAOB ruling was like... 8 months ago! Maybe something happened since then that allows the Turner Stone LLC to carry on. Maybe the Stone part of Turner Stone is keeping the LLC in business. One thing you can be sure of is that the lessons taught by the veteran's mistake are probably being remembered as they work with SLJB.
Go go go Turner Stone LLC!!! Audit SLJB for us all!!!!
