coreguy - T-mobile, cool -did Lango post that earlier?

I lost track. It actually does look very good. Nice thing is, I don't think there is anything there that Apple/T could not copy.

And I realized, there is really no/little issue about T not getting paid for 'minutes' when people are on WiFi voice calls. Heck, it unloads their network, and people need to buy a plan anyway. I think T would do fine offering this. It would attract more business than they would lose, IMO. Worst case, they charge another $10/month for the Wifi voice service (have not looked at T-Mobiles plan pricing yet).

edit/add: ooops, should read before I type

Finally, T-Mobile eventually intends to price the service at $20 a month, or $30 for family plans. Only people who sign up during the introductory period (now through an unspecified end date) will be offered the $10 price, or $20 for families.

Also, there are a number of people that cannot get a signal from a particular carrier (or at all) at home or office, and that can be a deal breaker for them. Give them the option of buying a phone that they *know* will work at home/office, and you will make some added sales.

I think Jobs will talk the T guy into this. Won't even need the RDF.
