Our enemy knows no allegiance to any flag or country, but rather to a murderous ideology that drives him to kill and maim in a ruthless push to rip liberty away and subjugate all of humanity to a repressive, hateful regime dedicated to a dark god, anathema to freedom.

On this day, amidst our jubilant celebrations of democracy, let us not forget that our liberty comes at a price, and it is only through our continued tolerance at home and leadership abroad that it will survive.
