umbra,

When I looked this over I thought about management. This is one of the most nasty and corrupt markets that anyone can play in. I wanted someone with a reputation...and history...as a formidable opponent...one that can spit in the opponents face...one that can go toe to toe. I want someone with the political connections to withstand the attacks. I don't want someone to spend big bucks on a CEO that can't affect much of anything right now anyway. What if they turn out to be a turncoat and are giving damaging info to the wrong parties. If Offor has to do some unsavory things to participate in this arena, I don't want some schmuk CEO drilling a hole in the boat while he is giving the appearance of bailing water.

What would ERHC look like without Offor? Would there even be an ERHC? Would you have bought into ERHC if it was controlled by someone who plays fair?...someone with no political connections?...No tenacity? Or someone who's funds were shaky...like the previous owner? Would you own shares if ERHC changed hands now...at our current price (or even at .45/share) but did not have the protection of Nigerian politicians...just some private owner with no advantage?...and no connections?

I think most would bail pretty damn fast.
