I think it's pretty obvious security measures are worth it.
People put locks on their houses but this doesn't always stop burglaries. There are millions of them every year.
Does this mean you would get rid of the lock on your door because it won't stop a determined burglar?
Cars are stolen all the time despite numerous security measures: alarms, clubs, steering wheel locks, lo-jack and other GPS tracers. Yet people and industry continue to buy auto security measures.
I don't see that the Trimark technology is very expensive to implement. The reason anti-piracy measures are being developed is because of demand...not idle ideas.
