You've got to be kidding? Yeah, don't sell where you need to secure a profit because you may want to look out for someone else who couldn't give a rat's ass about you! I've said this before and am sick of hearing myself saying it but this bidwhacking theory is a joke. Why do you think there is so much bidwhacking going on? There happens to be some brokers that it is near impossible to get a sell on the ask. Ameritrade happens to be a good one. If I put a sell in at the ask I have a pretty good chance of getting it filled. Etrade is the WORST! If you put a sell in at the ask using them your chances of a fill are close to impossible unless the thing is ready to uptick. When I need to sell something using Etrade and I want a guarantee that it executes I have to sell it at the bid. Ameritrade and Etrade fill differently. I am sure there are others that are as bad as Etrade.
