I'm in cash so I am not profiting. If we continue upward today, I will most likely join the shorts.

I am still having programming difficulties with my new trending backtest. I am suspecting that once I get the new backtest operational, it will provide me with some justification to be somewhat long in the face of this upward power move.

Currently, I am using "one size fits all" rules for establishing long positions in bullish trending markets. The new plan is to determine the strength of the trend and allocate long/short positions accordingly. But for the time being I will go with my incumbent "One size fits all" approach.
