I was looking at the benchmarks WBMW point to, and it occured to me that the benchmarks that actually took advantage of quad core showed the current 1066FSB parts scale very nicely. It seems the quad core improvement with the "Intel Kludge" provides similar scaling to AMD solutions as well as the Intel single to dual core change. It would be interesting to do a more detailed analysis of this at some point. I do agree the faster FSB should benefit quad core more than dual core. I was surprised to see the latency did not improve much with the faster FSB... --Alan full of random thoughts today...
