I would think so, too. No one has reviewed the quad core QX6850, yet, and that may come with added improvements.
Of course, you should note that the V8 uses Xeon cores, which run at 1333 MT/s FSB already.
Also keep in mind that these new dual core chips will be priced starting at $163 (for the E6550) up to $222 (for the E6850), which dramatically outperform the AMD equivalent at the same price. So expect further AMD price reductions next month.
