KP,
As usual you have choosen to fire arrows from so many different directions in hopes, that no matter how misguided they may be, that even if none hit the target the resulting confusion will cause the enemy to retreat.
For this reason I will make an attempt to answer each arrow on a separate post. Do me a favor and see if we can stick to one issue at a time. Confusing posts only work to lose reader focus and leaves too much of a chance at missing the true weight of each issue.
Arrow 1) You accuse me of pumping...
"Razr... agreeing to disagree is fine but your postings today on RB seem to be decidedly of a pumping nature (my definition: 1-an opinion not entirely based on what is known today vs. what you would like to "bet" on and hope for 2-spreading a story and avoiding fundamentals)."
Arrow 2) You accuse me of avoiding questions....
"Funny, you never did, (with) all your postings today, answer GolfD's (question) to you...
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=RTEK&read=23849
Didn't GolfD's deserve at least a comment? "
Arrow 3) You accuse me of "painting an untrue picture" because I own many shares.
"I do have shares and they also at risk! Just not as many but would
not paint an untrue picture just because I had the amount of shares that
you do!"
Arrow 4) You furthermore attempt to discredit others by insinuating that anyone posting positive comments is in love with this stock and then at the same time portray yourself as a squeaky clean ethics poster child.
"My agenda has been stated many times but just in case some may have missed it, to objectively post the facts as I see them and try to avoid the *feelings* some get caught up in when dealing with a pet investment. In posting the facts here, it is my hope that some will take the time to read and continue to do their DD with the hopes of avoiding possible losses while understanding the potential gains. I mean, I posted my observations here with the hopes of having someone convince me otherwise (when they fell into a negative tone) but it hasn't happened yet. With any of my prior posts, was anything in error? Anything you want to correct? Or did you just not like the conclusions I came to? I posted numerous questions over the last week, but no one has offered an answer or even an opinion... does that mean no one here could answer them or just didn't want to deal with them in an open forum? Nuff said?"
Arrow 5) Now we get to the first real and valid question. Starting it by pasting my following quote,
"you say; And while I agree that RTI is having to scramble for financing I'm betting they will turn the corner. If I'm correct then this debenture will be another golden opportunity. Refer to last summers dip for a visual"
You replied with the following paragraph,
"sorry but apples and oranges... this is the first debenture that will drop up to 25 million shares onto the open market. A golden opportunity? ... for whom? ...and betting they will turn a corner is gambling not investing. With that said, I too "hope" they turn the corner but after carefully reading the 10Q, which not many here IMO wanted viewed in the light of day, I think that time (turn around) is a long, long ways off and I publicly disclosed I didn't have the *gonads* to just open the sock drawer and stuff it away for the next year or two! Some can afford to take the loss... some can hold... and some might wish to make up there mind not to fall in love with their investment but rather deal with it AS an investment. One that we all seem to be on the losing side of at this late stage, no?"
Arrow 6) You may not have realized it but you partly answered question (Arrow) 1) with this one.
"I will still try to re-post your posts from RB that I found questionable and do a "point-counterpoint" for you just in case you missed what I am trying to say... such as"
http://ragingbull.lycos.com/mboard/boards.cgi?board=RTEK&read=23850
Arrow 7) Now with your 6 previous arrows still in the air, here's a multi headed but very mis-guided arrow imo. You now start changing words right out of the 10Q.
"razr.... I suggest you re-read these two posts to help you sort some of this out ...see post
http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=203359 -#279- and also http://www.investorshub.com/boards/read_msg.asp?message_id=204301 -#291- where the issues of getting PAID to receive tires vs. PAYING to get stock are addressed: excerpted but suggest reading both in full; "...from the purchases exceeding 6 million pounds of crumb feedstock in lieu of the normal condition of being paid to receive tires which are manufactured into sold crumb rubber."
"you state And just in case you may have forgotten, they still get paid to take in tires. ...you failed to point out they had to BUY 6 million tires."
Arrow 8) You attempt to credit GolfD's bashing of RTEK.
"...you "attack" GolfD's industry knowledge by stating Do you think that RAC is the only thing CR is used for? Not hardly ...would you mind showing me where he stated that or where you got that impression?"
"you state BTW, do you still own shares of brand X? Assuming you are, why do you choose to bash RTEK so often? ... now it seems anyone who offers up (IMO) a fair and honest evaluation/opinion supported by text from the SEC filings is deemed a "basher"? ... would you show me ONE of the posts in which you felt he was "bashing" as you stated? "
Arrow 9) You make another self credit attempt...
"I don't own any shares of brandX but that didn't stop me in trying to show them they should carefully look at their filings... these boards are for discussion. Ownership of shares is NOT a pre-requisite, is it? Were you bashing or pumping when you posted on Brandx's board? I stopped pointing brandX folks over to RTEK when it became clear that the "over hang" was severe and that as an investment at the current time I could not in clear conscience recommend it to anyone! Is that bashing?"
Arrow 10) And another pat on the back for GolfD...
"Then you post (preaching to the RB choir) Could it be: A)You know RTI is lightyears ahead of brand X and may help drive the last nail in brand X's coffin. B)You are tired of the competition stealing CR contracts right out of Brand X's backyard. C)You would really love to get RTEK at an even better entry price.
D)All of the above. ..... My guess is D! ..."
KP wrote, "what, no E) "none of the above"?"
Arrow 11) You put words into my mouth now....
"He clearly, in the past, stated why he owns no shares in RTEK if you read his posts. The choices you put out here are "possible" but your conclusion is not...
Do you think he is driving down the price with intelligent (imo) postings? With a motive to manipulate the SP? I don't see that. Do you think a poster like myself or GolfD has the power to drive the price up OR down? I don't think so."
Arrow 12) You put more words in my mouth......
"an even better entry price. ...are you suggesting they
will be still cheaper in the future? (in which case why are you holding rather than sensibly selling and buying back lower?) Do you think this is the bottom? (which case you should be buying now, huh!) It seems to me that this post of yours, coupled with the others today support my "pumping" comments and I felt they should be challenged."
And then of course your typical closing statement.
"Plan on more later as this was a LONG one, and only dealt with yours to golfD and his (that was avoided?) to you, I'll stop here now. Sorry I got carried away but sometimes I can be very long winded and when I post something of this nature to a friend I want it to be as clear as I possibly can be to avoid any hard feelings or misunderstandings. As you say, you wanted the supporting details and I hope this was a start. I know your time is short so I appreciate your taking the time to read it.
No offense intended nor taken, just looking forward to an honest debate over the issues! ~grin ....Like a Joe Friday... "just the facts" or what I admit to doing much of the time forming opinions that are "supported" with the "facts" as I know them or understand them. You have the opportunity to change or sway my understandings with your posts to this forum. "
Wow, that is a lot of arrows for sure.
Now I would like to ask of anyone who has read KP's posts over the last year or so. Is that not the typical confusing format we have grown accustom to seeing from him? I too hope your not offended, I'm just trying to help you make your points more clearly in the future.
