Well in or out is up to you, but I am happy that he is communicating with us. And that is not exactly big news. Or something that would even be PR'ed. Most likely if he did not tell holter someone would go to the website in a few days see that the two sites are now one and then you would complain because he did not tell you. Well now you know ahead of time. Everything does not need to be PR'ed. And this would not have been. so just let him tell us however he wants. and don't make such a big deal out of it. Don't get upset so easily it is a small thing.
