My worthless (but possibly correct) predictions for '04 --
1) The markets will fluctuate... there will be highs and lows... at times the markets will retrace, and hit a temporary bottom... and at such times that the market bottom's, they will rally from there, at which time the markets will inevitably hit a temporary high... at these points where the markets hit a temporary high, look for a retracement, and so obviously just trade it accordingly... Look for certain dates and times for this to occur, most likely during a weekday and before 3 pm central.
2) Zeevor will gain his 1000th 'peoplemark'... that could finally be the sign of a temporary market top, especially if he's bullish <ggg>
3) the 'mlsoft', 'federal reserves' crowd will remain bearish... despite any obvious price action, this crowd will steadfastly stand by their "convictions"... fortunately, the commodity markets should probably keep them "in the game", or at least from the soup kitchen... As a side bet, i predict mlsoft will vote republican and sylvestor80 will not. (going out on a limb there)
4) SCON will top $10 per sh.
5) Mainhiker will continue to curse and ridicule the cult stocks that he is short, especially as they go higher.
6) Augieboo will finally come out of the closet <g>
7) I will piss off at least one more person with my rude comments and be the recipient of another 'ignore'
8) The Saints will not win the Superbowl
9) Everyone will get one year older and one year wiser... hopefully
10) iHub will experience temporary outages of service
