Done it and have a patent on it (search for "diamagnetic colloids"), but when I tried to get a general claim on all colloids that are "physically" rather than chemically stabilized, the examiner gave me a tough fight, and had to limit it to magnetically stabilized colloids (g).... even though, it was the first non chemically stabilized colloid..."c'est la vie" (g).
