Arnold re. purification problems

You are right about the purification problems. Though we still do not know how severe those problems were, nor if they did apply to the process in general or to the demands of a certain customer with a particular strain of DNA.

At least the results of several tests by universities and US Gov. could be achieved before the purification process was improved. They will likely benefit from a higher purity, thus causing even better responses.

GEHC did a lecture at the DNA conference in Malaga (Spain) on 'Plasmid purification process, a scale-up study’. I do not know for sure, but there might have been contact between CYGX and GEHC on this issue. At least now CYGX was able to suppyl a customer with the 'delivery of the first of a series of three sequences of synDNA™. This delivery was a reorder of synDNA™ with Quality Control specifications meeting the customers' request for scale and purity.'

So, even when we cannot be certain the purification process issue is definitely over, we at least can conclude CYGX has reached the purification level desired by the paying customer. In my expectation, this will indeed bring in additional turn over.
