Miles, "without exception" may be a bit strong--and don't take this personally. I'm enjoying the dialogue. So far the broader indices have not put in new highs. Even if they do, from a Hurst perspective we can't know when the 4-year top will be in. That could happen any given day now. The highest point comes just before the most vertical drops. It happens again and again.
Just remember how fast the mood can turn from bullish to bearish. It happened in May 2006 with the market putting in a new high just before the collapse, and then the market couldn't get off the floor until July.
