I have to use the same numbers I use all the time. When calculating virgin epc, I take out of the total equity puts the qqq puts less about 25,000 (the "normalized QQQ" activity which I take at about 5% of the total equity calls) and I don't include DIA puts since typically these are very small. So I get (512-295+25)/541=.447..... (I think that DIA put should probably be taken out as well, but I do not have historical results for their impact, I usually disregard them since they are so small, Wednesday was a strange activity...)
