actually you could think of it this way

that the towers were supposedly built in a way to withstand an airliner crash

well they did withstand the initial impact

but the roaring fires that could not be contained weakened those crucial steel elements enough and coupled with the damage to structural integrity caused a domino effect

so it wasn't JUST a fire or JUST the impact... it was both

another myth or outright "lie" is that the fires were all but out

where's all that smoke coming from if the fires are nonexistent?
