Housing starts for single-detached homes in the Calgary Census Metropolitan Area plunged by more than 38 per cent in May compared to a year ago, according to statistics released Friday by Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
So far this year until the end of May, single-family starts in the Calgary CMA are down 30.7 per cent from the same period a year ago."
