Re: my deleted message
I cannot PM, so I will post this publicly.
I believe Walldiver -- or someone? -- deleted my message yesterday in which I stated that P3 was wise to post his reply to Dew's Motley Fool comments on this board, since I presumed that if P3 had posted it on Dew's board it would have been deleted.
My comment was in reference to the fact that at least one DNDN-related post had been deleted from Dew's board yesterday (ie, nmstav's link to Ocyan's excellent PSA Rising blog).
I found it amusing and odd that Dew would delete nmstav's post, then within hours effectively replace it with the MF article. I genuinely thought it wise for P3 to attempt a dialogue here, as opposed to Dew's board. If my comments violated some TOS or policy, I would appreciate knowing what it is.
I note that Dew's response to me was allowed to remain. It would appear now that reactions from Dew can effectively limit people's posting access to boards beyond his own.
Frankly I find this a little disturbing, as I had assumed this forum was more open.
DEW -- If you read this post (before it is deleted?), here is my reply to your comments:
<<Posts about bona fide new developments such as financing transactions—and replies to such posts—are more than welcome on the Biotech Values board.
What it no longer welcome there is the kind of incessant whining about “what should have been” that you made famous, which caused several regulars to send me PM’s asking for it to stop.>>
1. Why delete Ocyan's comments from PSA Rising? Do you lump these into "whining"? Why are your repeated comments about the supposed evil nature of Gold et al not "whining" in the opposite direction?
2. You seem to be in denial that you (intentionally?) elicited some of the "whining" that your regulars complained about. Most recently I refer to your post where you dredged up an eight week old post of mine. Your post would presumably qualify as a bona fide new development, but my reply to it would be unprecedented whining? This strikes me as hypocritical in the extreme.
You can have the last word.
I'm done.
