The FTC is not a real court of law and there is no jury here just an administrative law judge.

So unless the judge is living in a cloister and not reading the newspaper and not talking with the DOJ, it is impossible for him to not be influenced.

In addition, the FTC never had a real case against RAMBUS. Thier case was originally constructed around JEDEC fraud and got morphed after the CAFC and the SC rulings. The case was brought at the instigation of Micron.
