They would have the only in house immunomodel with any predictive value after just a few patients died. Insted, they have a cartoon and a hard to read graph and confusing PR on the cd54 FACS and an MOA that doesn't make sense.
They probably wouldn't even need to separate the cells as the principal component analysis would probably tell them what they have. Rather than try to guess what is important with FACS, you can get just about everything here ( Again, as a function of time).
Sure, this doesn't work for small molecules and is not accurate due to protein translation rate differences, but measuring the bleach or a selected cytokine based on gene results is not difficult once you have some idea what is important.
