I agree. I dont think gold cares to much about stockholder interests so he wont appeal. I agree though that what does he have to loose. He might get some concession from the fda like a free look but thats unlikely. Certainly it keeps attention on the fda. What if he interim misses by .002 like ttp in 9901a? The same coi's will exist then as do now. Future panels could at least have less coi.

Investigating the leaks to the ca letter should be a minimum. If I were meeting with the fda as an advocacy group,I would demand that. The fda certainly had some reason to recommend an approvable, but the politics was over the top.

By gold waning to be part of the establishment i mean as an equal and not just a part of big pharma. Partnering certainly leaves him open to more scrutiny, weakens his lock on the position of ceo, changes the board composition and takes some decision power away from him.
