I have been waiting for a definite sign that the Muslims have taken sides, this looks to be it.

If this is really a long term commitment in the Muslim world, I agree. I was wondering how the Russians were going to compete with us in a space race given their weak economy. This would explain it all. Given that the Bushoids are dunces when it comes to diplomacy, at the moment I cannot really see the U.S. stopping this without regime change in the States.

Hmmmm.... so if the Saudi's are really going to be taking sides with the Russians when we put away the soft ball and get out the hard ball.. the Russians will have the majority of the Persian gulf and the majority of the Red Sea to put their nuclear subs in to back up all the non nuke subs that they sold to the Iranians. I wonder if they are going to be selling non nuke subs to the Saudis?

I wonder how many minutes it would take a Russian sub to nuke Isreal from the Persian Gulf or the Red Sea?
