Phalgm, I bought 50 shares. Post R/S instead of having 50 shares in my account, I will have 500 shares. I actually get 450 more shares post R/S than I bought because "NO SHAREHOLDER WILL be reduced below 500 shares."

Let's say it closes at .10 today. After the 1:500 R/S it should open at $50.00 a share, which it won't of course but it would if these things actually opened at exactly what they closed at pre-split. Let's say, for fun, it actually starts trading at $5.00 a share. My 500 shares would have a value of $2,500.00 that I bought for $7.50 (plus commission). Let's say that by the time I actually get my 500 shares I'm not able to sell them but for .50 a share. I sell'em for $250.00 and they cost me $7.50. That's why it's a good deal.
