Re: it's the same old playbook intel uses when they are behind. Remember, intel said customers didn't need that much speed when intel was behind in the speed race. When intel blew a fuse on the 1.13 P3 that wouldn't compile a Linux kernel, well, Barrett said Linux was obscure software anyway...... Now that intel remains behind in the 64bit race, customers don't need 64. So what, Stevie? AMD uses the same playbook.
