Or he could've bought one share at the close at the ask to assure he had the spread:) But it's OK, you guys are playing within the rules and the rules have had some time and thought put in being spent developing them. I think you do a fine job with the contest. I was just bringing up an issue that some have had with things. If I open an account that gives 100 free trades in time for the next contest, I may play the bid-ask game (avoid all those expensive commissions). But it is against my 'norm' and would require some energy to open another acct so I'd probably be a boring picker with the companies I already hold for PSL7 (plus I'd have tax stuff to deal with unless it was a Roth with the bid-ask monsters).
