n Colorado, Glazed Investments already has Krispy Kremes in Denver-area cities such as Lone Tree, Aurora and Thornton, and in Colorado Springs. A Grand Junction store is expected to open in early 2004.

Glazed Investments opened Colorado's first Krispy Kreme near Park Meadows Town Center mall in Lone Tree in March 2001 with record opening-week sales of $369,000. A new Krispy Kreme in Boston set a new record in June with $507,000 in sales its first week.
