Can-Spam Law - a travesty, hatched by politicians

President Bush signed the "Can-Spam" bill [creating] the first
federal law regulating spam. Backers call it a major step
in the war against the plague of junk e-mail. I call it a travesty,
hatched by politicians who are out of touch with technology
and, more specifically, with the underpinnings of Internet e-mail.
