According to what's been PR'd the buyer is committed to a $185mm buyout of the existing OS. It doesn't matter what the PPS does between now and the closing date assuming the deal goes thru. And why shouldn't it? The buyer probably is a company of some substance with the ability to work the assets out of the ground and to market. It's going to take a few rubles to do that and our BOD probaly doesn't have the inclination to wait. If this were a listed stock the price would be real close to the .55 offer. AURC being what it is/has been and the flak in the air, it's no wonder the price is surpressed. IMO it won't be for long since the deal is advertised to go down by 5/30 for all cash.
