Questions:
Dr. Kimberly Blackwell from Duke will be reporting the effects seen regarding Hif1 alpha inhibition for breast cancer patients in a combination trial with Panzem NCD and Taxol on Tuesday June 6, 2007 at ASCO.
Since the trial design was for only 15 patients and it has been ongoing for over 12 months, then why isn't the breast cancer trial enrollment closed?
If there were good or better results, then why wasn't the number of patients in the trial increase similar to the increase in the number of patients in the glioblastoma Panzem NCD single agent trial?
According to the latest fact sheet from Entremed, the results for the Panzem NCD breast cancer trial are not interim. That implies that the results will be complete. Why would the results be complete in a trial that is still open for enrollment?
Do you think the results of this Panzem NCD and Taxol breast cancer trial will be good or not so good?
Good luck and God bless,
George
