I hear ya BigJohn..about the worst trouble we'd get into
in school is chewing chewing gum, throwing spit balls..
and such..now days..wow..a whole different ball game..

I have one brother in law who retires from a middle school
(a Junior High School) here in a couple more years..
he's the 'janitor'..

he said on several occasions that he's almost stressed out to the point where he's considering quitting..for fear of his life..and just draw the 80% early retirement..

he said a person wouldn't believe the stuff that goes on in schools nowdays, the weapons, drug paraphanelia confiscated, gang related shenanigans, etc...

they should've never did away with the 'paddle' and getting your butt busted, IMO!

too late now..they'll shoot you...

that's why we pulled our daughter out of school in 9th grade and home-schooled her..
