Gold - 12 days of Christmas gold trend now broken, just barely...

12 consecutive days over $390, then
12 consecutive days over $400, then
1 day above $410, and todays Kitco close at $409.90

well using the ask rather than bid price would keep the trend alive...

The larger question, for the commercials short gold, how in the heck can you cover your position with this consistent move upward..., since Gold price has really become significantly less volatile here recently, $6 or even $10 moves are not what they used to be percentage wise...
