David H. Grinspoon (a planetary scientist)
His book Lonely Planets published in Nov 2003

Religion and science [intertwined] throughout history
... seen as separate and antagonistic realms

... species will [survive] only if guided by a fusion
of science and religion [to] avoid self-inflicted [annihilation]

... scientific rationalists [acknowledged] that immortal,
God-like beings could exist... scoffed at people who arrived
at this belief through religion rather than science...

Would perhaps the Big Bang provide a dividing line
for distinguishing the immortals from God?

... immortals could not have existed before the Bang,
but don't try telling any God what it can or cannot do!

... immortals [couldn't] have existed before the first Bang,
[unless] there is no beginning because time loops back
on itself through an eleven-dimensional space...

... difficulty in defining consciousness, or defining life,
or understanding the role that these play in the universe,
lie the seeds of the next great awakening.

Mariner_007,

I got permission to spill the beans on the creation of life.

Two Reference Points:

1. #msg-1843232 (½ Yes, and ½ No)

2. Time is a dimension, like distance,
distance does not have speed....
ZEEV

Before I describe how the universe was created,
and where consciousness exist, the above thoughts
of the good doctor Zeev Hed need to be restated
to allow any path to understanding, to remain open.

2. Time is NOT a dimension... in the two lower dimensions
the measurement units for distance is in what we call time,
not what we here use, like meters.

While I would like to highlight the few individual thoughts
I copied & pasted at the top of this post, from the URL
you supplied within the post this is a reply to, that would
lead to an expansion far greater than I am allowed to do,
as stated by my handler mentioned in that above # msg.

So I will do a gotmilk "quicky" :o)

Those reading this post exist in the third dimension.

Your consciousness exist in the dimension "under"
the first dimension, incorrectly we will call zero'th.

Hell - The first dimension
Purgatory - The second dimension
Heaven - Starts at the fourth dimension

That which we call matter only exist in this third dimension.

While mass cannot exist in the first and second dimension,
the first stop into Heaven, starting with the forth dimension,
replaces our mass with that thing we call a spirit or soul,
and that's how we exist outside our consciousness
in Heaven. It the way to replace our body and the rest
of the universe as a frame of reference of "where we are."

Our consciousness was created and only exist
in that dimension called zero'th, incorrectly viewed
as if the first dimension lost a dimension.

I'll do just one from above, eventhought I said none.

Would perhaps the Big Bang provide a dividing line
for distinguishing the immortals from God?

Its really extra simple to understand.

The Big Bang happened when a single "piece" of mass
"exploded and broke apart into many many smaller pieces."

Its possible that the Big Bang that formed our universe
was from another universe that did a Big Crunch,
but the real question is
"Where did the mass come from in the first place."

Quite simple, Dimension Zero is God.

Only this third dimension has stuff we call mass.

Our consciousness is what we use to realize ourselves
as being alive, or to say "I exist."

Our consciousness is not matter, nor created from
that gray matter we call a brain.

Life is created from God that exist in that zero'th dimension
where matter/mass or energy "don't exist" or "not needed."

The Big Bang did come from matter that initially did not exist
in this third dimension, as it was really empty here, but God
in dimension zero created the mass and placed it into this
dimension as simple as you pouring water into an empty glass.

Oops & Ouch

Once a consciousness is created, it exist forever.
God could destroy it, but thats goes against being Good.

Yes Virginia, (From the above Cut & Paste re: why)
It is a test to see if humans go to Heaven.
God will not "kill" any of us (aka) make us non-existance
BUT
The Ouch,
See my referenced # msg
... when humans can travel between any point in the universe
as easy and quick as walking through a door...
... then aliens will make a visit to planet Earth "Hello"
and it will be very not nice in the extreme,
and yes, it has already been decided as such,
and what will happen.
